Speaking Engagement: Black History Month Lunch Series
On Wednesday, February 17th, Iva spoke at the Black History Month Lunch Series sponsored by the Trenton Court Probation Services at their offices in Trenton, NJ. She covered a range of topics including the importance of celebrating Black History Month, her experience as an entrepreneur, and her vision for Jamaican food and jerk cooking in the restaurant and in the world. She also held a food tasting and demonstration for the attendees. The event was well attended and everyone had a great time learning about Jamaican and Caribbean cooking and culture and how it influences the food and customer service at Real Jamaican Jerk An' Ting.
