The concept of “REAL JAMAICAN JERK AN’ TING” was born in 2005 among a small group of friends who loved socializing together around
good, authentic Jamaican food and Jerk cooking. With hard work and patience, we turned that concept into reality – starting as a catering
business and developing into a full service restaurant. While that small group of friends socializing has grown into a much larger
following, we have maintained that fun family feeling.
Our vision is to be the “Purveyor of the finest, entertaining and most
fulfilling traditional and contemporary Jamaican and Caribbean dining experience.” For us, that means:
- Serving the highest quality in traditional and contemporary Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine with our emphasis on jerk cooking
- Providing excellent customer service whether you are dining-in, taking out and receiving delivery
- Creating a warm and friendly environment focusing on Jamaican and Caribbean themes that is comfortable and inviting to all
- Delivering value to all of our customers individually and collectively
Our style of Jamaican food is very diverse with influences from all over the Caribbean and the U.S. Since growing
up in a little district called Wakefield in Jamaica, traditional island cooking has been a significant part of my life. I started
cooking at the age of six and developed a love for preparing authentic Jamaican dishes. Since moving to the U.S., I have expanded
on this knowledge by combining contemporary methods and tastes with the traditional island and jerk cooking. We deliver the best of
both worlds as each meal is customized to your special and specific taste.
For us, it is not just the food, it is the experience.
Food can bring back memories or create new ones - It can take us back to our childhood or propel us into the future. In our kitchen,
we are creative and thoughtful as we use the finest foods and ingredients to evoke these feelings and emotions. In addition, with
our wonderful service, you will feel like family, as we have created an environment that is as warm and inviting as the Caribbean
sun.
